Industrial dust masks such as the common KN95 mask types are designed to protect the wearer against moderate levels of dust as well as solid and liquid aerosols.

These masks are often used on construction sites but can also be used in agricultural, food production and health care environments.

Both variants of mask offer a mid level of protection against hazardous materials in concentrations up to 12x OEL or 4x APF.
